At The Show: Racing RC Cars at Elsewhere w/ Wombo

Wombo pulled up to the venue with a fully functional RC car racing unit. For those that know the band this won’t come as a surprise, every band needs something to kill the down time. This though, this is next level.

Q: How do your RC car races mirror the rat races of the music industry?

Cameron (Wombo): That’s an interesting question! The one parallel I can think of with it is that you have to perform when you’re under pressure. Up on the stage, like in those races, it’s like this is my one shot to make this happen.

Q: Be in the moment?

Cameron (Wombo): Absolutely and there’s something about that that is really similar to playing a show on stage, like this is the time to do it. I think it helps me in a funny way in both be really present.
